Membership Details: Owners-Guide

https://Owners-guide.com/members-onlyMany people have asked us why we would setup a membership site like Owners-Guide.  The answer is simple. People only pay attention to (and VALUE) those things in which they have invested.  Too many times we give free advice and people don’t follow through, even though it is in their best interest to do so!  The nominal investment to get a sneak peak inside one of the most inquisitive minds in ANY medical field is almost embarassing, but goes along with Dr Bergman’s mission.

To educate and adjust as many families as possible to optimal health through natural chiropractic care.

  1. Ian English says:

What are your suggestions on the best supplements to always take, and the best vegetables to have everyday? Thank you!

    • Hello Ian,

First, It’s important to keep in mind that supplements aren’t actually that vital to the healing process. The only reason I recommend supplements is because it’s extremely difficult to get all the nutrients your body requires just from food. The best option would be to invest in high quality organically grown food in addition to making the proper lifestyle changes and getting proper chiropractic care.

So if you’re getting proper daily sun exposure you don’t need to take a vitamin D3 supplement. If you’re consuming plenty of vitamin C rich food you don’t need to take a vitamin C supplement. If you’re consuming healthy wild caught fish like sardines, mackerel, or anchovies you don’t need to take an omega 3 supplement. If you’re consuming sea vegetables like kelp you don’t need iodine supplements. Chlorella and Spirulina are just fantastic superfoods that you’ll want to always include in your diet. And if you have a diet rich with minerals you don’t need to take a mineral/amino acid supplement.

As you can see it’s often much easier to just supplement unless you have access to all these food sources.

The only supplements I recommend are vitamin D3, vitamin C with bioflavonoids, omega 3 (fish oil), Lugol’s Solution (iodine), chlorella, spirulina and a mineral/amino acid supplement like Body Balance from Life Force. The reason these supplements are necessary is because these are all very difficult to get through dietary sources especially vitamin D and Omega 3.

Now as for vegetables, there are many different benefits from all vegetables. The best option would be to have an incredibly diverse diet which includes vegetables, fruits, healthy fats, and some animal products. Here’s a video that explains some very important dietary changes as well as some fantastic lifestyle changes you can start making right now to improve your health:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HD5GyR2Q8J0

I also suggest juicing vegetables and blending fruits on a daily basis. Juicing and blending are fantastic because the soluble fiber in veggie juice can be absorbed directly into your bloodstream and bind to toxins which may be affecting the health of your body. Juicing/blending also pre-digests the food so the nutrients/minerals are more easily absorbed by your body. There are also enzymes and natural probiotics in the veggie juice/blended fruit that will radically improve your digestive system.
Here’s detailed video about juicing if you’d like to learn more:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INrXthOFQtU

Obviously probiotics will be essential to restoring your microflora, but what would be even better than a probiotic supplement would be to consume properly fermented foods. One spoonful of fermented foods like sauerkraut contain more probiotics than an entire bottle of probiotic supplements. You can learn more about this in the video below:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiigsFnNDuQ

Let me know if you have any more questions,
      Dr. B

  2. Hello Dr Bergman,
Many thanks for your very quick reply and your many suggestions. I’ll follow them as close as I can.
    Meantime, greetings,

  3. Hello Dr,
I believe i may have tuberlousis of the spine over 5years now. However, i haven’t been diagnose by the doctors in the UK. I suffer from chronic pain in my upper back radiating to other parts of the spinal system. This affect majority of my organs such as overactive bladder, constipation, over stretched lungs, frequent headache/migraine, pain at the back of my eyes include frequent tiredness, and sensation all over my body. Once again, my condition started suddenly during my visit to Nigeria 5years ago (I reside in the UK)

i did a blood test (Mantoux test) last year to see if i have been in contact with tuberculous and it was negative. I strongly believe a biopsy of the cerebral fluid from the spine will prove i have a bacteria in my spine, which as caused alot of confusion & suffering and still no diagnosis after seeing neurologist, rheumatologist, psychologist. I believe my frequent swimming is the reason i don’t have an obvious visual curve in my spine over 5years.

Are there any other way, i can confirm for a fact i have a bacteria in my spine causing my underlining problems?
Do you have any remedy for treating chronic tuberculous of the spine?

I am convinced this is what i have however the health system wont run a spinal tap just because of my assumption.

Your fast respond will be appreciated.

    Thank you

    • First of all, keep in mind that a strong immune system is perfectly capable of handling any viral or bacterial infection, even tuberculosis. It’s more likely that all your symptoms are the result of several factors in your diet and lifestyle including any toxic exposure you’ve had in the past.

The first step would be incorporating all the proper diet and lifestyle changes to strengthen your immune system and give your body everything it needs to heal properly. Start by switching to an organic, plant based diet with plenty of healthy fats like coconut oil. You need to avoid any packaged or processed food as well as any meats because these are loaded with toxins which directly affect the health and quality of your body. You also need to supplement appropriately with vitamin D3, vitamin C with bioflavonoids, omega 3 (fish oil), Lugol’s Solution (iodine), chlorella, spirulina and a mineral/amino acid supplement like Body Balance from Life Force. Make sure you get the highest quality supplements you can find because these are vital for improving your health.
Check out this video to learn about more healthy dietary and lifestyle changes you can start making right now to improve your health:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HD5GyR2Q8J0

Now if you truly believe it is tuberculosis that is the cause of your issues, there is great news, you can completely cure Tuberculosis with Vitamin D3 supplementation. There has been a tremendous amount of research lately concerning the affects of vitamin D with tuberculosis. Several studies have shown that vitamin D3 supplementation has a 100% success rate in curing Tuberculosis infections. Obviously the best way to optimize your vitamin D levels is to get proper sun exposure on a daily basis, however if you live in an area of the world that doesn’t get proper sunlight then you’ll have to supplement with a high quality D3 supplement. Generally I recommend 3,000iu of vitamin D3 supplementation for every 100lbs of bodyweight, but this is just a rough guideline and most of those studies I was referring to used 10,000 units or more of vitamin per day.

Let me know if you have any questions, I’ll help in any way I can.

      Dr. B

  4. Hello dr Bergman,

Have written you before. My husband, myself and our daughter have scheduled an appointment for November but in the meatime I would like to ask you some questions:

Have arthritis: painful & inflamed (zwollen) knees, left knee worse than right, painful and swollen hands and wrists, zwollen ankles, painful right shoulder(feels like frozen shoulder for which I exercise regularly, rather stiff and often painful neck.

Also have digestige issues. Have lost a lot of weight (weighed 100 pounds which wasn’t a lot height 1.62 cms) and about three months ago I weighed 84 pounds. Haven’t dared to stand on the scale since then. Feel tired, weak & sick from morning till evening & often cold even when the weather is warm.

Have been doing most of the things you advised since may last, including the kalf stretches and knee exercises and hot pads on knees, but if any I’ve been getting worse.

    This is what you advised:
Start by switching to an organic, plant based diet with plenty of healthy fats like coconut oil. You’ll also want to avoid any packaged or processed food as well as any meats because these are loaded with toxins which directly affect the health and quality of your body. You’ll want to supplement appropriately with vitamin D, vitamin C with bioflavonoids, omega 3 (fish oil), Lugol’s Solution (iodine), chlorella, spirulina and a mineral/amino acid supplement like Body Balance from Life Force. Make sure you get the highest quality supplements you can find because these are vital for improving your health.

Except for not taking Body Balance because they don’t ship the product to Holland and not blending fruit I have been doing all these things. I take two drops of iodine daily. Should I take more. Wonder what I do wrong or perhaps don’t do.

Dont eat gluten, dairy, eggs, meat or fish and of course, no sugar. And are nightshade vegetables forbidden? Love nightshades but only eat them now and then. Would like to include them in my diet, if possible.

Because we have to wait a couple of months till we can visit you, maybe you can advise me further, if possible, though I don’t know what else I should do. I would appreciate it a lot.

Many thanks in advance, Dr. Bergman, also for the kind of work you do.

    Nora

  5. Cynthia Giles says:

Dear dr bergman I have posted you twice in regards to my health problems and still have not heard from you can you please answer my concerns. it has been a month ..Thank you..cynthia giles ckcg41@hotmail.com

    • Hello Cynthia,

I’ve answered all of your responses, in fact, here is exactly what I responded to you with:

Vertigo and dizziness are extremely common these days and is simple to correct if you address all the underlying causes. The two biggest underlying problems are mineral deficiency and a lack of proper nerve supply. You can start by switching to an organic plant based diet with plenty of healthy fats and start taking a high quality mineral supplement. You’ll need to find a corrective chiropractor can analyze, identify, and correct any issues with the nervous system and spine. Most likely there are structural and biomechanical issues in your upper cervical region as well as the bones of the skull that are causing nerve interference or impingement to the nerves that supply the inner ear. So you need to find a chiropractor with the skills necessary to reshape the structure of the spine, restore normal biomechanics to the joints, manipulate the sutures of the skull, and stimulate the nervous system to promote healing. There are very few chiropractors with these kind of skills so choose very wisely when looking for a chiropractor.
Here’s a video that’ll help you find the best possible chiropractor in your area:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEHDm749Rd8
If you can find a chiropractor in your area, but they aren’t producing any results, I can help train and teach this doctor my methods of treatment which are extremely effective. I’ve trained thousands of doctors over the years and I taught chiropractic techniques for 8 years at Cleveland Chiropractic College. I have training videos available on Youtube and I can skype with them to discuss treatment protocols and techniques in detail. So if your doctor is open and willing to learn I’m available to teach them everything I know about healing.
Memory loss, cognitive impairment, and general brain fog are all signs of chronic stress. I explain the mechanism of how stress affects the body in my latest video on women’s health if you’d like to learn more:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xgkouoNZB0
With the proper dietary and lifestyle changes like Deep Sleep every night along with corrective chiropractic care you can address all causes of chronic stress and massively improve your health, especially your brain function.

Doctors make a diagnosis through specific markers and tests that are often inaccurate and give false positives. Most doctors don’t really understand how the body works and they definitely don’t understand how to properly heal it. I suggest you implement the proper dietary and lifestyle changes along with corrective chiropractic care to stimulate your nervous nervous to promote healing and strengthen your immune system.

You can start the healing process by detoxing your body, switching to an organic plant based diet, supplementing properly, and incorporating the proper lifestyle changes.

Also, I explain in many of my videos the 2 parts to the Autonomic Nervous system. You have the Parasympathetic Nervous System which controls rest, healing, and the digestive system. Then you have the Sympathetic Nervous system which is the fight or flight response. The sympathetic nervous system reacts to 3 forms of stress whether it’s chemical, physical, or emotional stress the result is the same… blood pressure decreases to your digestive system and most of your normal organ function shuts down to bring more blood to the arms and legs. The sympathetic response is an involuntary reaction of your body to keep you alive in stressful situations. The problem is most people are in a Sympathetic Dominant State because we are surrounded by those 3 stressors almost constantly. This state of chronic stress is the reason why we see so many chronic health conditions in our society.

This is the reason why you can take all the healthy supplements and healthy food in the world and still not heal from certain diseases or conditions. If your sympathetic nervous system is active, your organs aren’t functioning properly and you won’t be able to absorb those wonderful nutrients.

Focus on eliminating those 3 stressors to start healing your body properly. Chemical stress comes from vaccinations, antibiotics, medications, toxins in our food, and toxins in the environment. Emotional stress can come from daily stressors like your job or relationships and from major emotional events. Physical stress can be from injuries, trauma, daily activities, or underlying problems in your spine.

The spine surrounds the spinal cord and any deviation from the normal structure or biomechanics of the spine can cause major health issues. Whether you’ve suffered a major trauma or you sit everyday at work the effect on your spine can cause nerve interference or compression which prevents the brain from communicating with the rest of the body. This is where a corrective chiropractor will come in handy during your healing process. In addition to addressing the other stressors in your life, a corrective chiropractor can analyze your spine and nervous system, identify the underlying problems and treat them accordingly. This is what I do everyday in my office and our methods are extremely effective in healing all sorts of issues with the body.
Here’s a video that’ll help you find a corrective chiropractor in your area:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEHDm749Rd8

The goal here is to get your body out of that Sympathetic Dominant state and back to a Parasympathetic state of healing.

Please let me know if you have any more questions, I’ll help in any way I can.

Hello Dr b. My doc tell me that she is hearing an extra heart beat. I didn’t feel anything until she mentioned it but recently I have been feeling like a little tick in my chest followed by a feeling around my right ear. I have been following your diet plan, I excercises 5 days a week. I am never out of breadth I am feeling quite fine but these feelings I am getting recently is driving me nuts. I am 52, male, 5-8
My BP readings at home average about 122/78. In my doctor’s office when she take my BP it does all sorts of things. My last visit in may my best readings was 148/76. Please advise what I can do before I can visit you.

    • Hello Neville,

First of all, if you’ve seen my videos on heart health and blood pressure then you already should know that blood pressure is not an accurate way of measuring your health. Blood pressure goes up and down throughout the day based on the needs of your body and so many things that affect your blood pressure to the point it’s almost useless to measure it.

The most important factor in heart function especially concerning arrhythmia’s is the nervous system. You may have heard me mention the Autonomic nervous system in many of my videos. Your Autonomic Nervous system controls every automatic function in your body such as breathing, heart rate, and your immune system. There are 2 parts to the Autonomic nervous system. • Neville Rice says:

Thanks for you quick response Doc. Unfortunately there are no corrective chiropractorso in my area and it looks like I will have to pay you a visit sometime soon.
I can feel a warm sensation on my left ear when I feel the extra beat. Can you explain why that happens. I am feeling quite normal otherwise but this is a scary sensation.

        • Hello Neville,

The warm sensation on your ear or around the ear is caused by altered blood supply as a result of a Sympathetic response. This is similar to the sensation of blushing in the face which is also caused by a sympathetic nerve system response. By stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system through dietary and lifestyle changes along with chiropractic care you can get your body out of this Sympathetic Dominant state which will correct the irregular heart beat and associate symptoms like this “warm sensation” in your ear.

It’s very unfortunate that you don’t have access to highly skilled and knowledgeable chiropractors because getting proper chiropractic care is a vital part of the healing process. You may want to consider traveling to a different city or country to get the care you need. For example, I have many patients that fly in from around the world to my office. I treat these patients very intensively for however long they can stay whether it’s 2 weeks or 2 months and we see fantastic results in a very short time with this method. If you have the financial means to do something like this, it would be the fastest way to get you healthy.

Let me know if you have any more questions, I’ll help in any way I can.

PLEASE help me; I have been through more than a year of ‘doctors’ and have Just been diagnosed with PARKINSON’S DISEASE!
It is May 16/16. I have studied Dr. B’s work for almost a year and loving the learning. Please help me beat this diagnosis….
    Linda

    • Hello Linda,

As I’ve explained Parkinson’s Disease in many of my videos, it’s caused by two main factors, neurotoxins which damage the nervous system and a decreased nerve supply from altered structure or movement of the spine. In addition to this, you may have been exposed to vaccinations, antibiotics, toxins, and possibly many medications over the years, so the first step to healing is always detoxing the body because all of these can negatively affect the organ systems and especially the nervous system.

Check out my latest video on detoxing for detailed info on how to properly detox the body:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-JrAoBoa2E

The next step is to incorporate proper diet and lifestyle changes to strengthen your immune system and give your body everything it needs to heal properly. The most important part of the healing process will be correcting any underlying issues with your spine and stimulating the nervous system to promote healing as well as normal function of your organ systems and body. To do this, you need to find a corrective chiropractor that can analyze your spine and nervous system, identify the specific problems, and correct them accordingly. Structural and bio-mechanical problems in the spine can cause nerve interference or nerve impingement which cause dysfunction of your organs and interrupt the communication between the brain and body. By restoring proper nerve flow and communication to the body you’ll see massive changes in your health. This is what I do every day in my office and I see incredible changes with every single patient. Make sure you find a chiropractor with the skills necessary to reshape the structure of the spine, restore normal biomechanics, and stimulate the nervous system to promote healing and normal function.

    • Hi Bond,
Let’s get you better! Stenosis of the Loback can be corrected in most cases. The way to find out is to take a stress x-ray. Many conditions can result from compression of those nerves in the low back, diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, low testosterone, low levels of thyroid, are just some of the conditions that can result from the pinched nerve.and You need to get your nervous system checked by a corrective chiropractor in your area. Good chance you have an unstable pelvis as well. If you’re able to make the trip up, we’ll get some x-rays and scans to see what further needs to be done. Call my office Bergman Family Chiropractic in Huntington Beach 714-962-5891 my team will help you set up an appointment. Looking forward to seeing you.

Hi Dr B, i have watched some of your amazing videos on youtube. Now i think wow how the hell could we get it so wrong as s society. I live in the united kingdom i,m 34 dad to 2 boys. When i was 30 i started having problems with my hips and knees, nothing i could pinpoint just general pain. Then my hands and feet started to pain me but that went away after a few months, then i got this burning pain in my back and down my legs and pelvis like sunburn with nothing visible on the skin. I,ve had tests and scans from all departments. Only 1 showed mild disc bulge at l5s1 been seeing a chiropractor for a few months and now i take no meds but the pain keeps going away then flaring back up and i,m back at square 1. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    • You need to find a corrective chiropractor get your nervous system checked, what you are describing is nerve pressure. Get your pelvis checked for instability. One of the best Chiropractors in Europe is in London Dr. Terry Chimes. Give him a call he may know of someone close to you. Also check out our video on knee and foot health there is a great exercises which should help get you started in the right direction.

  10. Hi dr.Bergman,
I joined today and became a member on this site because I’m fascinated with your knowledge and work. I’m a 38 year old guy who lives in Croatia ( eastern Europe). For some time I’ve been having pain in my neck and lumbar spine. I made an MRi and it showed protrusions of the disks, skoliosis, and some other deformations on all three parts of the spine. I also have missaligned pelvis and semi flat feet. Since you told that Mri doesn’t show much should I make an X-ray, what parts( spine, pelvis), from what positions, before I make an appointment with you on Skype?or some other test?
    Thank you

    • The flat feet are coming from weak intrinsic foot muscles. That is from the pressure on your nervous system in the lower back. Walk barefoot on the grass dirt or sand at least 10 minutes a day to strengthen those muscles of the feet. Also get a trochanter support. It will stabilize your pelvis which is probably unstable. The xrays we take here in the office are the lat lumbar, lateral cervical, nasium view (APOM with upper thoracic, and an AP lumbar.

    Hi Dr. Bergman,
I am trying to find a doctor like you for me and my husband and my adult daughter in my area and most of them are listed as chiropractic/acupunture/naturopathic. Do you think acupuncture is a good therapy or not?
Thank you for all of your videos and your help.
    Rebecca

    • Hi Rebecca, acupuncture is a good therapy depending on what you’re trying to achieve, but it won’t correct subluxations. A corrective chiropractor Will take x-rays, evaluate the central nervous system and do a complete check up to achieving and maintaining optimal health. Use our 7 questions to find a good one near you.

      1. Do you take x-rays? (essential to find the subluxations)
      2. Do you get listings off of x-rays? (shows where to adjust)
      3. Do you take post x-rays to document structural changes made?
      4. Are your treatment goals to reshape and restore the natural curves?
      5. Are you familiar with correcting disc injuries?
      6. Do you work on post surgical patients?
      7. Can you reverse arthritis?

Hi Dr Bergman my name is Vince I’m from the UK England it’s verily impossible for me to get to were you are hopeful one day I mite I just need some advice I’ve bin watching your videos on YouTube and thay are amazing I’m 40 years ago and have bin on ssri tablets sine I was 20 I have bad anxiety and depression about 6 years ago the doctors said I have bi polar so that put me on anty piocotics tablets was on them for four years and it was like hell I got my self off them and fill better but still on ssri I also have rosacea on my face my face go,s really red a day hot I find it hard talking to people coz of the flushing I have Psoriasis to and my feet have bad toenails I do not work but am doing volunteer work wen I fill OK I’m trying to come off the ssri tablets Iv stoped taking statin tablets coz of high coleztrul sorry about my spelling I got my self a juicer and have changed my diet and bin taking hci tablets hoping that will help with the Rosacea and Psoriasis but have not seen any different yet can you help please please

    • Hi Vince, check out our video on depression and mechanical problem and use those techniques to rewire your brain. Rosacea is from toxicity and a histamine response so look to a toxic condition or inflammatory foods so detoxing and an anti-inflammatory diet will fix that. for the psoriasis, that usually occurs from a lack of stomach acid so try some betaine hydrochloride supplements, the low stomach acid can also come from nerve pressure so you need to get your nervous system checked by a corrective Chiropractor. I know a great chiropractor in London Dr. Terry Chimes, give him a call. You need to alkalize your system with an organic plant based diet, juicing and blending will also help to clean the blood. For a topical treatment try baking powder mixed with white wine vinegar, also try a supplement of apple cider vinegar just a couple of tbs per day, your body needs higher Cholesterol to make cortisol and that will help with hormone production

          • Hi Vince, that’s fantastic!! Your in good hands. Keep me posted on your results!

Hi Dr Bergman I’m getting on good with Terry chimes I have started to feel a lot better the bottom of my back is feeling grate Iv bin doing exercise at home to but just wanted to asks my psoriasis is no better yet does this take a long time to go. Thanks again so much and I like the new foum

      • Hi Vince, thanks.. the new forum is working out great. So happy to hear you’re doing well with Dr. Chimes. Have you been taking betaine-HCL supplements, that will increase stomach acid, which will improve psoriasis. You will see improvement after you get healthy nerve supply to the affected area. It will take some time but you will get better.

Dr. B, I have loved the responses you ‘ve given to members about their problems, but I couldnt find find the answer you send me, that is the question I asked you concerning the numbness on my tongue and on my finger tips on the left hand. It seen when my blood pressure is high it feel wolse and very irritating. I went to a corrective chriopractor for about three months for help but that didn’t help. I am still suffering. Could you give me infomation on this problem. Thanks from a person in agony

    • Hi Nancy, what you are describing is nerve pressure, did your Chiropractor take before and after x-rays to document the structural changes? because what you are describing is nerve pressure and possibly toxicity, make sure you are on an organic plant based diet and if you are taking medications find the cause of why your taking them and fix it so you don’t need them, also make sure you are getting plenty of healthy water and are having at least 3 bowel movements a day.
Let me know how you are doing, we will get you better

  14. Christopher Keuhlen says:

Good Morning Doctor Bergman. First and foremost, thank you for this wealth of information. You are changing my life in the most positive direction it has gone in in the last sixty years. In your series on sleep you were saying the Gall Bladder secretes during the REM stage. What happens if you are missing your Gall Bladder?

    Thanks Chris

    • Hi Chris, without a gallbladder you will still have an increase in your parasympathetic nervous system during the REM phase of sleep but without a gallbladder your bile will continually leak into your small intestine so make sure you keep your nervous system healthy and take healthy amounts of coconut oil

Have post my concerns on post page / this page jumps around and log me out. Had a bad heart attack / they want to put in a defibrillator/ this has me worried/ heart EF is 20. Can you suggest anything?

    • Hi Lazlo, I’m sorry you had trouble with posting I will tell Dr Dewitt to correct that. For cardiac arrhythmia’s you have to get the nerves that supply the heart checked as soon as possible so get to a corrective Chiropractor and they will check the nerves in your upper neck and your upper thoracic area’s, so far 100% of patients that have cardiac arrhythmia’s that I have seen and corrected have been from nerve pressure in those area’s
I will help in any way I can

OK l will get on that. My other concern is having a ICD . installed, They showed me two types _one thats put into your heart and the unit under the skin. The other has leads put under the skin in a ( L) . under the heart. I’m liking that one better. But do not know if that’s the way to go? I have 2weeks to decide I need to find out all I can so I may make the right choice. The stress test the other day went good. With no arrhythmias seen. Do you know where I can get information on the ICD. The pamphlet they gave me has only how to live with one information. Thank you.

  16. Mary Tease says:

Hi Dr, I want to clarify the calf stretching exercise …that is the one with the block of wood right ? I do get great relief from the dangling with weights ! Thanks again, Mary

    • Hi Mary, yep the calf stretch is with the block of wood, and the weights with moist heat will give relief and help heal the knees also walking bare foot will help the foot mechanics and Chiropractic adjustments of the spine will help the nervous system

Really would like to know more about enlarged heart causes. After heart attacks. Does this happen from over stressed heart or to much exercise? Or something that’s going to happen because of damaged heart? And is it true Viagra stops the enlarge ment? I have appt. With chiropractior this week. Thank you again.

          • Hi Laszlo, An enlarged heart come from a long term problem with the nerves that supply the heart and a stressed digestion, your Chiropractor hopefully will discuss the causes and solutions with you, the solution is to restore the nerves that control the heart and clean your arteries, and make sure your on some healthy supplements like plant based minerals and omega-3 oils, and soluble fibers to clean the arteries
            Dr B

      • Hi Laszlo, You need to get to a corrective Chiropractor as soon as possible the nerves that supply the heart come out of the top of your thoracic area and if that area is corrected you may not need the ICD

  17. Mary Tease says:

Hi Dr Bergman, I am hoping that you will be able to either explain on this site or by email to me (mtease9247 @ gmail ) or to my chiro jethuy1@gmail.com) about how to check for patellar tracking & how do the ” fixing ” if need be . I know, I know, its a tall order & Im not sure you can do all this per email ….I mentioned patellar tracking to Dr Huy & he said yes I should get this brace thing off amazon to wear …really not feeling confident on this one ….UGH… Please help 😉

    • Hi Mary, Check out our video on knee and foot health I detail out how to check for patellar tracking or have your Chiropractor email me and I will help your doc to diagnose properly, yep it sound like you may need to find a better Chiro here is a list of questions to find one

      • Christopher Keuhlen says:

I have been looking out here in Portage Michigan and I have found a couple of Chiropractors that can answer yes to all but #7 Reversing Arthritis. I’m pretty sure there is a Doctor about 75 miles from here that is a candidate but the drive would undo any adjustment I got.

        • Hi Christopher, Your Chiropractor will give you exercises to do in the car to maintain and continue correcting your spine, also he might be able to do more than 1 adjustments a day so you might only have to drive a day a week, our protocols are 2 hours between adjustments.

  18. Mary Tease says:

Hi Dr Bergman, This is no knee cartilage Tease ( not for long :) ) I have been doing well with the diet, purified water intake, juicing, ( the Omega vrt 350 is really easy to use ) exercises, & FINALLY went to a chiro here in town to get my nervous system checked. This has all been no easy feat and I owe it all to you !!! Thank you so much. I now know & believe I will heal. Few questions : If I get my films on disc may I send them to you for review ? Dr Huy has said he will collaborate with you. I know its unorthodox, but WOW how lucky am I ?? He told me to wear Birkenstock shoes & to see a podiatrist. Do you agree ? I absolutely loved the new video entitled How to have Healthy Knees & Feet For Life. Inspiring testimonial ( not to mention the before & after xrays !!) I posted this yesterday & it seems to have disappeared ….This site is like navigating on the high seas lol .. keeps jumping around … Hope it works today … forgot to mention I am 52 yrs young & am status post knee scopes right & left for medial meniscus tears 2009. 2012 that have left me arthritic …not much cartilage left medially… Thanks Dr B , have a great weekend !!

    • Hi Mary, You can e-mail me your x-rays and I will help your doc in anyway I can, forget the birkenstock’s and you won’t need the podiatrist, once you get the low back working the pelvis stabilized the blood cleaned, the knees dangling and the calf stretched you will be styling pain free with healthy
      Dr B

      • Mary Tease says:

Hi Dr B, well my chiro doesnt have the capability to put the spinal xrays on disk . Will see about my rheumatologist ordering the films so I can get the disks to you …dont understand bout emailing them, but will try ….Thank you for your response …Be Well !!

Hello Dr B., Wow !! What an amazing Person. I ,as well as my family, have learned so much from you. You empower people! What a gift. To be able to learn how to help ourselves. I have a question about large uterine fibroids. Is surgery the only option for really large ones? I do have back issues ,and have had for many years. I understand these are estrogen

    • Hi Marianne, I wanted to make sure you got my answer so here it is again, sorry about the delay in answering I get most of my emails done fridays and the weekends: Hi Marianne, We have to get you to a Chiropractor who takes x-rays, tumors are eliminated by good pancreatic and adrenal function, so the back pain makes sense, also you need to get a trochanter support this will reduce some of your symptoms right away, you will have an unstable pelvis and this belt will help. You might also want to try moist heat over your lower abdomen this will stimulate cells called macrophages that may help reduce the tumor but have your Chiropractor direct your care because if the moist heat increases any bleeding then it is not good for you, also try some digestive enzymes before meals and coconut water to replace electrolights, and never lay on your back with your legs bent, it will feel good when you are doing this position but you are damaging the discs in the lower back try laying on your side with a pillow between your legs.
I will help in any way I can
      Dr B

  21. Matthew McEachran says:

I have read your excellent book and it has inspired me to search you out and ask several questions. I am a 48 y.o. dentist with history of spinal stenosis. My job puts my back at considerable torque. Despite this, can diet and exercises overcome this?

I agree that cholesterol meds are bad. Do you feel that taking niacin to control cholesterol is bad?

Could taking testosterone replacement therapy(bioidentical) and hgh for antiaging reasons contribute to arthritis?

My symptoms of spinal stenosis have escalated beyond pain. I am now experiencing some numbness in my 3 left lateral toes of my left foot. Can this still be reversed?

    • Hi Dr Matthew, Diet and exercise won’t reverse stenosis, specific Chiropractic spinal adjustments can, we have to get you stress x-rays and get you to a corrective Chiropractor. You don’t want to control Cholesterol, you need to find out why your body requires more cholesterol, your body is self regulating so if cholesterol is higher look for adrenal fatigue or some type of inflammatory process, Also your body uses cholesterol to make testosterone so I wouldn’t lower cholesterol, remember cholesterol doesn’t clog arteries, for your symptoms get a stress x-ray of your lumbar and also typically 50% of lumbar symptoms can be from the cervical area, so make sure your Chiropractor is thorough.
I will help in any way I can my friend

  22. Pippin Anne says:

I have been enjoying your videos and sharing them with like-minded friends. Thank you for getting the word out in such an accessible way. I especially like the hopeful message you offer.
In one video (I’ve watched too many and can’t find the spot again), you mentioned mitral valve prolapse, but it was just a mention. I hope you can talk about this at some point. My SIL has regurgitation significant enough to have been told that she is looking at surgery in five years at the longest, and more likely two years. She’s asymptomatic, which is why she’s being monitored instead of being pressured into immediate surgery.
I look forward to your comments.
    -Anne

    • Hi Anne, For mitral valve prolapse look for loose ligaments there are ligaments that hold the valve in place so check for healthy kidney function and healthy protein digestion, and she needs to get her nervous system checked, she may have a sympathetic dominant system or stress that is weakening her ability to digest and repair the heart ligaments.
Let me know how she is doing
      Dr B

  23. Hi Dr B
First of all just would like to say thank you, I,m back to work after 6 yes and feeling good, I still have not got the subluxation thing looked at yet, but I’ve drop a good bit of weight and once I get a bit more settled its next on my to do list. I have a question about dry scalp, I wondered if you know of anything that can help, it not bad but I would like it to be better?

    • Hi Keith,
for dry scalp make sure of 2 things , 1. you need healthy fats in your diet like coconut oil, avocado’s, etc.. 2. you may need betaine HCL supplements in your diet, a lot of skin and scalp disorders are from a lack of stomach acid, also you need to get your nervous system checked by a corrective Chiropractor.
      Have a great day
      Dr B

Hi John, the new preview for the Arthritis Reversal System looks great. Typically you!! Funny, informative and straight to the point. Love it!!!
Can’t wait for the full one. So keep out that boat and get on with it.

Thanks for the incentive, I will get this info out and then we change the world, you start in Scotland and I will start in California and we meet in the middle, brand new world, That is the world of the future where people appreciate their brilliance

  25. A friend of mine has mitacondrial myopathy, is there any thing you came do to help?

    • Hi Keith
For your friend with mitochondrial myopathy, look at this condition has a problem with the nervous system and toxic environmental stimulus, so get the nervous system checked for subluxations, then eliminate inflammatory foods/drugs, if they are deficient in enzymes (try digestive enzymes) or vitamins and plant based minerals, then they will need supplements, they probably have some digestive problem so they may need to heal their gut first.
Let me know how they are doing
      Dr B

  26. Hi Dr B
I wondered if you could give me some advise, as I have spoken to you before I have had CFS for about 5yrs now started your diet and it,s been working wonders, but in the past month I have had problems with my sex life , problems with getting or maintaining something of use in more personal circumstance, although it still seems to work just sadly not when the situation requiresI wondered if you know of anything I could do to improve my issue/situation? P.s thanks i,m off all my meds about 4wks.

    • Hi Keith
Awesome you are off of the meds, that takes a lot of work, for a vibrant and healthy sex life there are several things you can do, check out my video on “healthy sex and romance” There are several foods to eat and foods to avoid, also regular kegel exercises are awesome, make sure you get your nervous system checked for subluxation, if the pelvis or neck is subluxated then you will have altered function, get to a corrective Chiropractor first, there is an old Chiropractic saying “fix the pelvis and the spouse pays the bill”
      Have a great day
      Dr B

    • All fixed, just a hiccup. Thanks for advise.

  27. QueenAngel2007 says:

Hi Dr Bergman, I wanted to tell you about the problems I have, I already know all the anti-depressants I’ve been on cause me to gain weight. The only pill I was on that successfully managed my symptoms was Prozac, but I grow tired of being a psychiatric guinea pig. This is the list of all the pills I’ve been on for Bipolar Disorder Type 3 since I was 10 years old:

    Effexor XR
    Depakote (On twice)
    Paxil
    Prozac
    Adderall
    Zoloft
    Lamictal
    Seroquel
    Lithium

This one is for mood swings:
    Abilify

These are the pills I was on since 7 years old for ADD/ADHD:
    Ritalin
    Concerta

Usually the psychiatrists start you off at low dosages and increase it right? Wrong! It’s criminal, every psychiatrist I had, I’ve had 4, start me off at high dosages, which probably explains why I turned into the exorcist on Adderall, my eyes looked really dark like the exorcist, and I was also so angry. On lithium the only thing that came back when I was on adderall was my eyes looking dark, it’s criminal. Also, make a mental note that the psychiatrist who put me on lithium didn’t know or ask about my thyroid problem. That year was hell for me, believe it or not I was emotionally unstable for 6 months, because of all the medicine. The doctors weren’t very helpful either, because none of them bothered looking deeper into this. According to my medical record, I had a history of headaches, that were not of migranious nature, my mom gave them a sinus CT, but there is nothing in my record about a CT for the brain or MRI. I know they were tension headaches, I still get them too, btw. Like I said, I wasn’t born with Cerebral Palsy, and my mom had me just fine, I don’t know if this affected me, but I was born at a full 40 weeks, and I was hypoglycemic. This is the part that will piss you off, back in 2004 they diagnosed me with a mild of Hashimotto’s Thyroiditis but they stopped the medicines in 2005 due to lack of thyroid antibodies, but now look, I have a full blown thyroid problem. I also had a laparscopic sleeve gastrectomy, which didn’t work, I still have the surgery, but I refuse to do anymore damage to the gut. I was also still forced to take the anti depressants after my surgery, the surgery didn’t help me lose weight, and then I developed G.E.R.D. and Hashimotto’s Thyroiditis, I’m all kinds of messed up. I took your advice and there’s a corrective chiropractic Doctor I can see, but where I live there are no orthomolecular doctor nearby where I live. I really enjoyed your youtube video, it’s given me hope that I won’t have to take pills forever, I began bettering myself, and now thanks to your information, and another random person I talked to who agreed with me, I can finally be free from the doctors that only go by the book, my shrink gets paid to listen to me, but she goes by the book too, and she’s been my shrink for 11 years, God help me! Now for the fun part, my conditions:

    Right-sided Mild Cerebral Palsy
    ADD/ADHD
    Bipolar Type 3
    Hashimotto’s Thyroiditis
    PCOS
    G.E.R.D.

Please help me, because I noticed ever since I got diagnosed with G.E.R.D. another problem is when certain people in my family make me upset, I cry so hard I hyperventilate, and I feel like vomitting, now because of certain people in my family, I’m going to have to get my gut checked because since I didn’t have anything in my stomach that day, I knew if i vomitted it would be blood, and then I ended up collapsing on the floor from exhaustion, and another person got me upset, I messed up my sinuses, because when I vomitted, I puked up mucus, and when I looked in the mirror my face was blood shot red, and both my nostrils felt stuffy, and to make it worse because of this person, I have to get my eyes checked, because I hemorraged a blood vessel in both my eyes. I need help, because none of these doctors seem to care or understand what’s going on at my house, and has been going on for years, I feel so alone, and I feel trapped because I don’t know how to drive either, because of another certain family member, I haven’t gotten my teeth cleaned in 2 years, or went to OB/GYN in 3 years, and I told her I have to get my PCOS, because of the risk of developing uteran cancer. However, because of this person, a good thing happened, my medical insurance went away, that I am grateful for, no more guinea pigism, my god! I still have to go and get the cyst on my right foot removed though, it’s bad now, but hopefully during the open enrollment thing next month I can get my insurance again, if not I’m still at a loss of what I can do, sorry I told you alot, my family says I ramble alot, but when it comes to getting actual beneficial help, it’s a must, thanks for your help and understanding.

God Bless you and all that you do!

  28. Hello Dr Bergman

I have been battling with some health issues without any particular success, the doctors fail to diagnose me and keep referring me to one another.
The symptoms my body is elaborating are –
    1. Yellowing of the face (around the mouth and nose area).
    http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee398/jurijs1/IMG-20130608-00690.png
According to tests my liver is functioning properly.
    2. Nails on my hands and feet are quite pale and seem to have developed a condition called “Terry Nails”.
    http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee398/jurijs1/IMG-20130610-00725.jpg
    http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee398/jurijs1/IMG-20130528-00613.jpg
    3. My chest area is covered in small brownish dots. There are also tiny, bright red dots distributed around my body, the numbers of red dots are minimal.
    http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee398/jurijs1/IMG-20130527-00563.jpg
    4. On the right side of my abdomen I have developed a white-looking dot. (The dermatologist said it could be scleroderma, but he was not sure).
    http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee398/jurijs1/XiQ53MS.jpg
    5. I am also suffering from periodontitis and change to my saliva. My saliva has become stickier and easily irritates my guys and lips.
Regarding the skin problems, a person with whom I was sharing a flat also experiences brownish and red dots on his skin. He also experiences yellowing to his face. Could it be something that is contagious?
I have performed an echocardiography recently, they found 3mm of fluid near my heart. Everything else was fine.
Whenever, I experience adrenaline (for example, listening to upbeat music) my breathing gets harder and I can experience some discomfort in the left side of my chest, which can be moving to my left shoulder.
I also experience some discomfort near the white dot on my abdomen. I should also mention that I have bloating problems.

    Things I have tried –
For two weeks I have been on the intensive Gerson Therapy. I had to stop due to irritation to my gums (which seem to negatively respond to the carbohydrates from the carrots).
I tried coconut oil, but according to the stool tests which I have done my body is poor at digesting coconut fats. I also don’t digest everything I should – nuts, seeds, some berries and veggies are the ones I can remember.
While using vitamin C lunula’s on my thumb fingers appeared, but I had to stop vitamin C due to severe irritation to the intestines. I tried sodium ascorbate, but still the same results.
Things that I have tried – Colloidal Silver (Mesosilver and Sovereign Silver), Dr Mercola’s multivitamins, niacin, coenzyme Q10, spirulina, chlorella, probiotics, sauerkraut , colostrum, hydrogen peroxide, fulvic minerals (the ones you have discussed with Clive de Carle in one of your videos), chia seeds, vitamin d3, Carlson’s cod liver oil.
I don’t eat anything refined for almost a year now.
My sleep isn’t great, I wake up with discomfort in my neck and a sore throat.
I also have to mention that previously I had no education in nutrition and my diet was horrid up until 23, tons of refined sugar, no multivitamins and almost no raw veg.
    I am 25 now.
If you could give me any advice or pointer I would be incredibly thankful, because I am feeling quite lost as to what to do next.
I can also email you any tests which I have performed.

    Sincerely,
    Andrejs

    • Hi Andres
After looking at your pictures and symptoms, you are mineral and fat deficient and may have a mold or candida issue, and you have get a set of x-rays I am suspecting cervical compression from one of your pictures and if you have that that will be a source of the digestion and sleep problems, so to get your health back, first a set of x-rays then a whole food mineral supplement and even though you had trouble with the coconut oil try it is multiple small doses throughout the day the medium chain fats are the best absorbed even if your digestive track is not working well, and eliminate and mold you may be exposed to. you can e-mail me your x-rays and I can give more accurate advice.
You will get your health back
      Dr. Bergman

      • Dr Bergman

Thank you for your generous reply! I will create and email you my x-ray the upcoming week. I do suspect that I might be having a candida issue (after consuming carbs my gums do get irritated easily), is there anything in particular I should do to get it under control?

        God bless you Dr Bergman,
        Will update you soon.
        Andrejs
